Description[]
In the tapestry of the Blackstone in the Larson Estate, the stone is ornate. Painted very roughly to capture the divots and indentations covering it, the stone is massive, egg-shaped but elongated which distorts its proportions. Light comes from all around it to illuminate, and it is elevated over a swamp.[1]
History[]
The oldest tunnels in Mt. Hoosac were dug in search of the Blackstone.[2]
